Synopsis

"Sudden Impact!" Having been hired by a minister in Los Angeles resettlement, year 8162, to protect a key witness for an enquiry hearing, Death's Head is forced to be a spectator when a local police marshal sees it fit to handle the job himself.  Death's Head, the witness and the good marshal are on their way to the hearing, when they find themselves under attack.  Sudden Impact, a group of highly trained soldiers, lead by Mayhem, are wiping out the good marshal Lek's team, when Lek begs Death's Head to interfere.  He does so, and one by one he takes out Sudden Impact's members, when he confronts Mayhem. Mayhem asks how many members of the team he has killed, and as Death's Head counts out to eight, Mayhem tells him that they are nine, just as the last member of the team blows up the witness in front of Death's Head and marshal Lek's eyes.
